CROSS DOCK DESPATCH ADVICE EXTENSION
Message definition
An extension of the Despatch Advice message, specifically for the Cross Docking scenario. This extension is used to advise the receiver about the shipment of the goods in combination with AIDC applications, like barcode labels, to link in a efficient way the physical flow of goods with the flow of related information.

DESPATCH ADVICE
Message definition
Generally, the Despatch Advice enables one Shipper to provide information about the content of a shipment to one Receiver.  Specifically, the Despatch Advice serves as a link to a prior agreement between Shipper and Receiver and is applicable to one or many Receiver destination points from one Shipper launch point.  Furthermore, the Despatch Advice may be used to indicate the despatch of goods being returned by the Receiver.  The Despatch Advice may be utilized downstream between retailers, suppliers, 3PLs, carriers and manufacturers as well as upstream between manufacturers, 3PLs and material suppliers.

MEAT ITEM CONTAINMENT EXTENSION
Message definition
The objectives of this extension are:
  • Describe the exchange of production history data of unprepared beef in order to support traceability and quality management.
  • Creation of UML-based business models for the global beef supply chain (slaughter to retail  ) using Rational Rose as a modeling tool, and involving beef trading partners and users, to better enable tracking & tracing (henceforth referred to in this context as “traceability”) of beef products.

Message definition
The Invoice Message is defined as requesting payment for goods or services under conditions agreed upon between the seller and the buyer. It contains the necessary information needed for payment consisting of parties, items, prices, amounts and quantities.

EU INVOICE EXTENSION
Message definition
The Council of the European Union issued Council Directive 2001/115/EC of 20 December 2001 amending Directive 77/388/EEC with a view to simplifying, modernising and harmonising the conditions laid down for invoicing in respect of value added tax.   This directive created a need to develop an extension of the existing invoicing standards for European Union countries to implement these requirements.

PURCHASE CONDITIONS
Message definition
The Purchase Conditions sets the contractual conditions for the ordering and delivering of the goods and so details specific terms and conditions that apply for a given period. While both parties need to agree on Purchase Conditions data, it is understood that only one party, i.e. the buyer or seller, will send the Purchase Conditions message and that the information flow will be in one direction only in order to ensure alignment.
