China allocates RFID frequencies

15 May 2007: Regulations have been issued in China for using RFID in the Ultra High Frequency range. The allocation of a frequency band within the desired range of 860-960 MHz will mean that companies using the EPCglobal Gen2 protocol will be able to write tags in China, read them in other parts of the world and vice versa.
