The 30th Global GS1 Healthcare Conference that took place in Beijing, China, 25-27 October 2016, gathered nearly 300 participants from more than 30 countries. Together we learned from leading experts, shared best practices and drove global harmonisation.We had the honour to welcome a line-up of impressive, industry-leading speakers from China, Argentina, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, U.S., UK, and many others who shared their knowledge, experiences, and future vision. Traceability activities from across the world were discussed, including pharmaceutical traceability in China, the U.S. Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), the EU Falsified Medicine Directive, and the medical device and pharmaceutical traceability regulations in Argentina. Experts from hospitals worldwide shared their experiences about implementing global standards in hospitals to improve patient care, safety and outcomes.
At the networking dinner participants had the opportunity to enjoy Chinese traditional music & song and a magical show.
