- Tuesday 27 Oct: EPCIS: a new perspective on “event management” - Craig Alan Repec (GS1 Germany)
A production-to-POS implementation of EPCIS has been illustrated and commonly asked questions about EPCIS have been answered: What is an EPCIS event? How are EPCIS events used to increase supply chain transparency? What is EPCIS – and what is it not?
- Wednesday 28 Oct: Global Traceability Conformance (GTC) Programme – the benefits and testimonials - Juan Pablo Vial (GS1 Global Office) and Hector Aguilar (GS1 Mexico)
This session showed how to improve supply chain visibility, traceability management and quality management. Attendees learned about the GTC Programme which enables companies to assess and audit their traceability system based on GS1 standards and ISO standard.
- Thursday 29 Oct: GS1 Healthcare – from developing standards to making them work for patient safety worldwide - Jan Denecker (GS1 Global Office) and Frederique Fremont (CHU Aulnay University Hospital)
The GS1 Healthcare Group continues to produce standards and has recently reached an important milestone.
