GS1 Management Board physical meeting and by invitation only

The GS1 General Assembly is where key decisions for the organisation’s future are made. In view of its key role in the governance procedure charged with both formulating the organisation’s strategic direction and monitoring its global performance, the GA is attended by key industry players and key global decision-makers of global companies and GS1 Member Organisations within the GS1 Community from over 70 countries. In addition, the GS1 Management Board Members meet at this time. The GS1 General Assembly (GA) is also a major event for networking with the GS1 Community at a very executive level and is hosted by a different Member Organisation every year, this year by GS1 US.

An annual event hosted by GS1 US and VICS for the purpose of bringing trading partners together to network and learn about the value of using standards-based business processes and best practices for optimum efficiencies in managing the supply and demand sides of their value chain.

GDSN Board Physical Meeting

The global Healthcare user group convenes two times per year in a ‘GS1 Healthcare Conference’, bringing together all Healthcare supply chain stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, healthcare providers, associations and regulators. Experts and opinion leaders share their insights on Auto-ID, traceability or data management during the plenary sessions; every participant can also contribute to the global standards development process during the work team sessions; last, but not least it is an opportunity to network with other stakeholders. About 200 participants join in each conference, which is being hosted in the different regions worldwide.

This event involves the world’s supply and demand chain standards specialists. The week is comprised of working sessions and plenary topics on key standards management initiatives. Together users and GS1 staff help define the future of global business standards. Key GS1 stakeholders will discuss opportunities, case studies and examples of how companies can benefit from using the GS1 System of global standards.

GS1 in Europe Physical Meeting

The GS1 MOs from the Asia Pacific Region meet to discuss the status of regional projects and better respond future challenges in the region. They also meet to network and be trained about latest developments. Every year it is hosted by another country.

The EPCglobal Board of Governors meet several times a year to discuss stategic issues and take decision about future projects and initiatives adoption.

The GS1 MOs from the Latin American Region meet to discuss the status of regional projects and better respond future challenges in the region. They also meet to network and be trained about latest developments. Every year it is hosted by another country.

The GS1 Global Forum is the GS1 global annual event for the GS1 Community’s top management, key decision-makers, technical experts and marketing managers with executive staff from over 80 Member Organisations from all over the world. It also brings together our key stakeholders such as solution providers, trade associations and end users represented in our Boards.
