Medical device track and trace system in Turkey
Ömer Özkan, Institute deputy manager, TÜBITAK BILGEM Software Technologies Research Institute, introduced the achievements of its Medical Device Tracking System (MDTS) in cooperation with the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey. The purpose of the project is to provide an infrastructure to track medical devices and cosmetic products manufactured in Turkey as well as those devices imported from outside of Turkey to in-country sites where they are sold and used.
