Adoption and implementation of GS1 Traceability Standards
GS1 Traceability Standards provide a powerful tool kit for implementing traceability to enable full actionable visibility of pharmaceuticals and medical devices from point-of-production to point-of-sale or point-of-care, to ensure maximum interoperability between traceability systems across the Healthcare supply chain and across borders.
The Global Traceability Standard for Healthcare (GTSH), a process standard, provides a foundational framework which describes the traceability process and defines the minimum requirements for all stakeholders, independent from technologies, organization size or operational sophistication.
The GTSH Implementation Guide assists any/all stakeholders in the global healthcare supply chain to implement a traceability system in line with the GS1 Global Traceability Standard for Healthcare (GTSH) utilising the GS1 System of standards.
