GS1 Traceability Solutions Training Course

In its various forms, traceability is today an integral part of the modern supply chain in numerous industry sectors. GS1 has developed a comprehensive set of Solutions to assist its members in designing, organizing, and performing traceability. The objective of the course is to master the currently available GS1 Traceability Solutions and learn how to deploy them in your local environment. It is composed of 3 modules:

1. Understanding Traceability (General overview and traceability system design requirements)
2. Organizing for Traceability (Batch/lot management in production and distribution environments)
3. Performing Traceability (Withdrawal, recall and authentication processes)

Each course module is composed of 3 parts: theory, business case, and practical exercise. The pre-requisites for taking part in this course are: proficiency in English, good understanding of supply chain operations, and basic knowledge of GS1 System tools.

A "Traceability Solutions Implementer & Developer Certificate" is awarded upon successful assessment of the student's knowledge. Otherwise, the student is eligible for a "Certificate of GS1 Traceability Solutions Course Completion".
