The SSCC-UCR Pilot was a high level proof of concept of developed in 2007 demonstrating the use of the GS1 Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) as the WCO Unique Consignment Reference (UCR) number in the Wine and Spirits supply chain between the United Kingdom and Australia.
