Position Summary:
✓ Working as a part of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will be required to support a range of activities of the broader healthcare team, including conference organisation, public policy activities, and providing assistance to our global industry members and GS1 Member Organisations.
✓ The role will involve engagement with stakeholders from all healthcare functions across the globe as well as GS1 Member Organisation staff from 115 countries.
✓ The role will also require close collaboration with the relevant GS1 data analytics team members.
Responsibilities:
- Lead specific areas in the planning, administration and operations of GS1 Healthcare conferences and virtual events such as:
- Coordinating conference attendance
- Planning meetings
- Supporting delegates both onsite as well as pre-and post-event
- Supporting speakers’ needs
- Partnering with the conference agency
- Preparing reports
- Managing budgets and financial transactions
- Undertake engagement activities with GS1 Public Policy Community and GS1 MOs to enable information gathering for UDI reporting and regulatory developments
- Supporting the management of the MO SmartSheets for collection of GS1 licence data
- Monitoring the status of monthly implementation by MOs SmartSheets and provide assistance as needed
- Manage the updates of the GS1 Healthcare Public Policy Community members and relevant online tools
- Other related duties as assigned
- Support the overall GS1 Healthcare team with administration and organisational activities to facilitate
- Ongoing projects
- Coordinating meeting and events
- Other tasks as deemed necessary
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor degree in a business related discipline
- Experience with the following is preferred:
- Event planning
- Data analysis
- Administration and support of senior leaders
- A passion for healthcare is a plus
Skills required:
- Fluent in English, oral and written is mandatory
- Ability to work with globally distributed teams
- Organisational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Is driven to follow up assigned tasks, and see results delivered
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Smartsheets) and Zoom
- Ability to effectively communicate with both highly technical and non-technical persons seamlessly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

This job may require up to 5% global travel.
