Position Summary: 

The primary objective of this position is to provide Programme management support for Data Quality programmes and initiatives. This includes working across the Global Office and with the GS1 Member Organisations (MOs). 


  • Guide and support the Master Data Services and Brand Owner certification programme (MDS/BO), including the assessment of the impact of the programme and identification of areas of improvements
  • Ongoing administrative support (billing, contracts, etc.) and contractor management for MDS/BO certification programme
  • Marketing communications support for the MDS/BO certification programme, including materials, website content, and presentations
  • Monitor MO Satisfaction with MDS/BO certification programme by proactively engaging the MOs to understand what is working and which areas need improvement. Take necessary actions to improve MO satisfaction
  • Develop an ongoing project status tracker for all DQ projects across all workgroups, including Data In/Data Out for the GS1 Registry Platform (DI/DO for the GRP), Global Data Synchronisation Network (GDSN), Global Data Model (GDM) and MDS/BO to monitor and assess progress in bringing data quality strategy to life
  • Administration of MO Data Quality Interest Group (MO DQ IG), including setting up calls, preparing materials and content, and creating/posting minutes
  • Upon request, provide data quality training to MOs, individually or via the regional MO meetings


  • Bachelor or master’s degree with 7+ years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of GS1 Standards, Services and/or experience with GS1 Solutions that use GS1 data standards is a plus
  • Experience in working in a complex matrix environment with exposure to international markets
  • Experience in community engagement and management
  • 7+ years’ experience in project and programme management, especially with cross-functional teams (data services/development, customer service, training, communications/marketing, legal, etc.) to operationalise and measure data quality programmes across all GS1 solutions and the GS1 MO community
  • Deep expertise in communications, marketing background a plus
  • General understanding of data quality practices and measurement
  • Retail or healthcare industry experience a plus

Skills required: 

  • Fluent in English, oral and written is mandatory

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word, Zoom
