Major Release 3 Data exchange Before - During - After Go Live

For data migration during the GDSN major Release 3 Cut-over Migration period, keep in mind each side will migrate their data changes related to Major Release 3. There is no need to republish all items in the network.
Naturally occurring changes (e.g. updates to the item for business reasons) should be sent before the Cut-over Migration period or after go live. Please work directly with your data pool to understand how to migrate your data for the migration.

Clean out your GTINs and GLNs

Don’t wait until the Major Release migration event to clean up your GTIN’s and GLN’s. For more information about how to clean up your GTINs and GLNs please work directly with your data pool.

Learn about the high level changes which will take place with the Major Release 3 and how to prepare for the deployment of the new standard on May 6, 2016.
