BIC and GS1 sign a Memorandum of Understanding
Michel Hennemand, Chairman of B.I.C., and Miguel Lopera, President and CEO of GS1 have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
B.I.C. is a non-profit Organization with a membership that covers almost the entire spectrum of container owners in the world. B.I.C administers a world-wide system for allocating and managing identification codes (BIC-CODES) for international container transport.
The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation and technical collaboration between both organizations.
