6, May 2017 - GS1 GDSN has announced the successful launch of GS1 GDSN Maintenance Release 3.1.2.1, an update to the GS1 Global Data Synchronisation Network (GS1 GDSN) standard.

This release encompasses updates to Global Product Classification (GPC), Efficient Code List (ECL) and Attribute Value Pairs (AVP). Additionally, there are enhancements to Product characteristics, increased support of product labeling, DIY attributes, and support for additional units of measure. This standard update was made possible by the dedicated work of the GMD-SMG group.

With the successful launch of GS1 GDSN Maintenance Release 3.1.2.1, we will continue to monitor, communicate and collaborate with the GS1 GDSN community to gather feedback and inform on future releases.
