Functional User Guide GS1 Major XML eCom release 3.0

Scope of this Guide

This "GS1 XML 3.0 eCom Functional User Guide" presents the detailed descriptions of the GS1 eCom Business Message Standards contained in GS1 XML 3.0, although it does not replace the BMS.
The guide covers all messages contained in the Business Message Standards as well as  the related common libraries. It is a foundational guide containing all message components, their definitions and data samples.
The functional user guide does not provide specific  guidance for the use of the business messages in particular business processes, sectors and regions Therefore, the business users may need additional information that will be provided in  international or local implementation guides.
