Steps to join and participate in GSMP
First, you need to make sure your company is a member in good standing of a Member Organisation (MO) (if you want voting privileges). Non members can participate, but will not have voting rights. Secondly, you must register for a Community Room account. Once these steps are completed your company must sign the GS1 IP Policy or Acknowledgement form. Then you can apply for GSMP membership and sign up (Opt in) to participate in one or more of our Work Groups. Please use the instructions and links below to start participating.
Step 1: GS1 Member Organization (MO) Membership Status

Who must sign the GS1 IP Policy? An authorized signing authority representing your company’s headquarters must sign the agreement. Only one agreement is necessary per company. NOTE: if you plan to participate in GSMP work groups your company must Opt-in to the group by submitting either an Explicit Opt-In Agreement or the Automatic Opt-In Agreement (see Step 5).

Step 4: Join GSMP to become a Member
