2nd Francophone Africa GS1 Healthcare Summit

19-20 July 2023 (Virtual)

8:00 - 11:00 am EDT / 12:00 - 15:00 pm GMT

Enabling Supply Chain Digital Health Transformation

The purpose of this activity is to continue to increase Francophone countries in West and Central Africa awareness on digital health supply chain transformation.

To continue building awareness of global standards in Francophone Africa there was an urgent need to organize a 2nd summit for counterparts to fully engage in discussions on GS1 and to learn from each other as they discover how to design their traceability journey.

Through a 2-day semi-virtual Francophone Africa GS1 Healthcare Summit, MOH counterparts learned how digital supply chain transformation is enabled by product traceability and global standards. Through these meetings healthcare leaders were encouraged to share and discuss progress made towards the adoption of global standards for the betterment of patient safety, supply chain security and efficiency.

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all 205 participants who joined us from 44 countries around the globe including 28 African countries over the course of two enriching days.

Stay connected with us for updates, follow-ups, and information on future initiatives. Together, we can achieve even greater heights in advancing healthcare in Francophone Africa and beyond.
