This discussion group objective is to develop an industry-supported business case that addresses the sharing of Consumer Product Variant information, without impacting traditional B2B data exchange and business processes. The group will develop a plan for broader industry outreach on this topic as well. The objective of this effort is to align industry on the best, most pragmatic near-term solution to the challenge of sharing data about product variations. The group will meet as needed in person and via conference call. Additional outreach mechanisms to gather industry input will be deployed as well.
