- 951 is used to issue General Manager Numbers for the EPC General Identifier (GID) scheme as defined by the EPC Tag Data Standard.
- 960, 961 & 9620 to 9624 have been assigned to GS1 UK for GTIN-8 allocation. 9625 & 9626 have been assigned to GS1 Poland for GTIN-8 allocation.
- For 12-digit GTINs, and only 12-digit GTINs, there is an implied leading zero. For example, given the 12-digit GTIN 614141234561, the GS1 Prefix is 061, not 614.
