GS1 General Assembly - May 2018 – Hangzhou, China – Post-event
It was an extraordinary GA held in Hangzhou with 260+ attendees from 80 countries, more than any GA outside of Europe! All proposals to the GA were approved including work on Global Data Strategy, the GS1 Cloud, Global LEI Service, T&L Strategy, Fighting Illicit Trade and more. We heard from insightful speakers from Alibaba, JD.com, Haier and Walmart. Plus, a very successful press conference was held reaching millions.
